Sam Bloom, Camp Director
Sam brings a wealth of experience to us at Camp Hidden Meadows, with 34 years in both resident & day camping. This includes 26 years at Emma Kaufmann Camp in Morgantown, West Virginia, three summers as Director at Herzl Camp in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and four summers as Director of BT Day Camps in the Baltimore area. Some of Sam’s career highlights include the creation of a 2-week summer camp experience, which helped institute a succession plan for campers, and passing the American Camp Association Accreditation process ten times from 2000 to 2023. Additionally, Sam has experience in travel day camps, sports and recreation, and more.
Sam has spoken to over 3000 participants over the past 14 years at the Tri-State Camping Conference and American Camp Association conferences, where he has covered topics of Leadership Styles, Staff Training and Development, Recruitment, Sales, and Customer Service, Crisis Management, Training for Teams, Winning with Millennials and GenZ’s, Creating Inspiration, and Creating Teams.
Sam is the proud father of two girls, Jordyn (21) and Casey (18), and they share his love for camp! He is a high school basketball official and a high school softball umpire. He loves golf and cannot wait to learn more about fly-fishing!

Kat Harlan Assistant Director
Kat has been a summer camp professional for over a decade. She helps our campers and camp families to have a smooth transition into the first-year camper experience and continues to support campers to have a thriving camper journey summer after summer.
Rozie Hoff Head of Camper/Staff Care and Family Engagement
Rozie’s passion for camp is contagious. With a background in theater and youth programming, you can often find Rozie leading a campfire skit or joining the creative writing workshop. She is great at helping shy campers open up and is a supportive resource to campers and staff at Camp Hidden Meadows.
Faith Holley Office Administrator
Faith brings a deep love for camp and the outdoors to everything she does. With five years of experience as a camp counselor and a degree in journalism and communications, Faith supports our camp families and camp staff to ensure a smooth operation behind the scenes throughout the year and in the summer.
