Junior Counselors
Counselor-in-Training (rising Juniors)
Our CIT program is specially designed to provide rising juniors in high school with leadership opportunities while having a fantastic camp experience in a small group setting. Junior Leaders live in a cabin with campers and a lead counselor. Throughout the two weeks, they gain real-world experience assisting in a variety of program areas such as field games, camp festivals, and more. Certifications for belay instructors and junior lifeguards are available in this program. CIT's venture out as a team on two trips which include an overnight backpacking trip and white water rafting trip. $2,250 (fall and early-bird enrollment discounts available).
Junior Counselors (rising seniors)
For rising high school seniors who wish to apply for a full summer counseling position in the future. Junior Counselors (JC's) live in a cabin with campers and a lead counselor. JC's work in activity areas of interest as assistant instructors. CIT's also help lead Theme Day, assist with meal set up, and participate in an out-of-camp trip. The Junior Counselor is not a paid position but JC's receive pocket money during their out-of-camp excursion.
Explore the Camp
Our location has been described by many as breathtaking. As you follow the trail through the riverside meadows and across the bridge you come to our “camp village.” Here you will find our office, health center, dining hall, cabins, art center, and a host of recreational and training facilities such as our sports fields, basketball court, bike skills park, equestrian arena, pond, climbing walls, challenge course, swimming pool, and more. Beyond the camp village is where much of the magic takes place amongst the meadows and endless forest. Savoring a freshly picked carrot from our gardens or taking in the view from the high meadows on a mountain board run are long remembered. It is here where the fundamental joy of being a kid is all the excitement that is needed.
