Family Weekend & Open House Dates

Our Family Weekend and Open House events gives you and your family a fun introduction into all that Camp Hidden Meadows has to offer. These weekends are a great opportunity to meet other new camp families and talk to our camp directors about what sets CHM apart.

Join Us for the Family Camp on May 30 - 31, 2020!

Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia, Camp Hidden Meadows has been a summer sanctuary for kids for over 25 years, but why should they have all the fun? This summer disconnect from all the hustle and bustle and take some time to reconnect with family, friends, and the great outdoors.

In this two-day event you will get the full camp experience. Participate in classic camp activities by climbing to new heights at our climbing tower, getting a bullseye at our archery range, making bracelets for your loved ones at arts & crafts, or try a new activity like gaga ball or mountain boarding. Enjoy delicious meals cooked for you in our dining hall. At the end of the day unwind by sitting around the campfire with your new friends before returning to cabins for lights out. You'll want a good night's rest before another day of camp activities and traditions!

Open House and Maple Sugaring Tours – March 7 - 8, 2020

During Virginia’s Highland Maple Festival, we’re tapping our own sugar maple trees and boiling down the sap to make more of our fantastic Hidden Meadows maple syrup. We’d love for you to join us to watch the maple sugaring process, tour the camp facilities, meet the directors, and of course, sample syrup straight from the source! This is a great opportunity for both new and returning families to visit with the directors and get a feel for life at camp. Information session and tours begin at 1:00 pm. Join us either Saturday or Sunday, whichever suits your schedule! RSVP is recommended, but not required. Register for an Open House date here or simply give us a call.

Spring Open House — April 19, 2020
