# Camp Hidden Meadows _Rates and dates below are for the **2027 season**. Last updated: 27 August 2026._ Camp Hidden Meadows is an all-gender overnight summer camp on 250 acres in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia, serving campers ages 7 to 16. We run 1- and 2-week sessions, combinable into 3- and 4-week stays, built around adventure, acceptance and exploration, so that campers build confidence, independence and friendships that last beyond the summer. Camp Hidden Meadows is **accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA)**, meeting its standards for health, safety and program quality. ## What we offer - **Traditional Camp** - overnight sessions for campers finishing 2nd through 9th grade, available in 1-week and 2-week lengths, and combinable into 3- and 4-week stays. - **Earth Expeditions: West Virginia** - a 1-week program for campers finishing 7th and 8th grade, spending most of the week out of camp exploring West Virginia. - **International Earth Expeditions** - a travel and service program for older teens. - **Counselor-in-Training** - a 2-week leadership program for campers finishing 10th grade. - **On-site activities** - more than 20 workshops including rock climbing, arts, nature exploration and waterfront activities, plus all-camp evening programs. - **Off-site adventures** - more than 10 excursions into the Monongahela National Forest and the surrounding Allegheny Mountains. ## Summer 2027 dates and tuition **The 2027 season runs 20 June to 21 August 2027.** All tuition figures below are plus tax. **Fall Enrollment pricing applies to enrollments completed by 1 October 2026.** ### Traditional Camp - 2-week sessions Campers finishing 2nd-9th grades. | Session | Dates | |---|---| | Session 1 | June 20 - July 3 | | Session 2 | July 4 - July 17 | | Session 3 | July 18 - July 31 | | Session 4 | August 1 - August 14 | **Tuition $4,150.** Fall Enrollment (by 1 October): **$3,950**. ### Traditional Camp - 1-week sessions Campers finishing 2nd-9th grades. The rates above are the current published 2027 figures, taken from the camp's own Dates and Rates page. ## Where our campers come from Camp Hidden Meadows draws families from across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond, including West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina and New Jersey. The camp is a manageable drive from the Washington DC metro area, which is where a large share of our families travel from. ## Setting The camp sits on 250 acres of mountains, forest and river frontage in Bartow, West Virginia, within the Monongahela National Forest region.
