A Summer of your choosing....
As a camper you will have a lot of choice in what you do at Camp Hidden Meadows. Camp is about trying new things and we encourage you to choose a variety of activities. At the same time we won't schedule you for underwater basket weaving if that isn't in your top ten list. We do not place campers in certain activities based on cabin assignments or age. Campers instead choose the activities in which they have the most interest within a well organized and structured program. Campers appreciate the opportunity to choose their activities and this enthusiasm translates to a quality learning environment for both instructors and campers.
Prior to arriving at camp you will recieve a form at home with a list of activities you can choose to participate in at camp. While at camp you will also have an opportunity to choose additional activities. That way if there is activity that you weren't sure about prior to your arrival you have the chance to try that activity. Our goal is to help you design a schedule that best matches your interest. For example you might choose woodworking, rocketry or pottery and have that for one class period each morning. You might choose to follow this with mountain boarding, farming or climbing. One camper might choose an afternoon spent mountain boarding followed by arts, while another person might choose an afternoon at the lake followed by soccer. Either way there will be the chance for a wide variety.
